Come on guys, there are numerous requests on here for an app for Samsung TVs, there's really no excuse for not having one. Samsung are one of the biggest TV suppliers in the UK, surely you're missing a big market opportunity?
You guys really need to have a Samsung Smart TV app. Netflix works so well on it and iplayer etc. The only thing missing is a NowTV app. Not sure if you are missing out the Samsung TVs on purpose to get people to buy the NowTV box but I surely wont be doing that and Im sure others wont either. You will get lots of new subscribers if you get on the Samsung smart TVs!
I agree with Tumpin. I have a samsung smart tv and can access BBC IPlayer, 4OD, 5OnDemand, ITV Player, Netflix and Lovefilm amongst other services. These are all supported and are mostly free.
Currently I have to switch on my XBox360 to watch NowTV. Something I am doing less and less.
I would be very interested in knowing if there is a timeline or even any intention of releasing an app for the samsung smart tv.
I have just bought a Samsung smart TV and tried to watch Now TV, obviously with no success. I shall not be buying the box and therefore will cancel my subscription. I can't believe you can't get this through a smart TV. Backwards or what?!?!
Im just going to let this month wind down then cancel. Im hardly watching it right now. I cant be bothered hooking up the laptop to the TV when I have all the rest of the smart services right there to browse through. No reply from Sky either so no idea if a smart app is even on the horizon!
No support for Windows 8.1 either. Again all of the other online services support it.
Pity cos I would keep it up if I could access it easier.
Im glad they have the Sky Sports pass though. Thats worth plugging the laptop in for.
You need an app for the samsung smart TV immediately. I haven't even received my promotion offer (£10 my protein voucher) upon signing. I might discard this service.
