OK so horror movie mashups don't have a great track record - Alien v Predator, Freddy Vs Jason but ....

For any fans of Asian Horror this has to be the film of the year ...

@caseyb1993 you definitely need to watch this! It's out in Japan in June but there's no news on a UK release yet ... if it doesn't we definitely need to come up with a money making scheme to get us to Tokyo in time! 😄

@caseyb1993 Yeah - nice connection with her starring in Mama, a superb horror film also directed by ... yep, you guessed it. Yep, watched the video, had a chuckle, nice riff on that 'Georgie is safe' deleted scene they filmed!

@caseyb1993 So ... Hereditary ... hmmm!!! Difficult to say much without giving things away but it's not what I was expecting ... definitely not knocking The Exorcist off my number 1 spot, probably not making my top 10 either ... but it is a film that makes you feel very uncomfortable all the way through (although it gets a bit carried away towards the end) and tense, and plays with your emotions a heck of a lot. It's definitely a film I'm going to be thinking about for the next few days, and it deserves a second watch to see if I still feel the same way afterwards, but it's not the sort of film you'd stick on when you just fancy a good horror film, 'feel good' or 'comfort viewing' it is definitely NOT!!!  Very different and not what you think! Hmmm!!! I've a feeling it will become a bit of a classic in time, but for now I'd still be recommending A Quiet Place - bit more conventional!
