if I was to buy the sports one day for 10 pound,as it comes with the sky sports mobile membership can I watch efl championship games on my mobile.

EFL Championship football matches are on Sky Football and Sky Main Event where these two Sky Sports channels are not covered under a  NOW Mobile Membership. 

With a Mobile Membership you get five Sky Sports channels which is Premier league, Action, Arena, Racing (horses) or News.

You could watch the games using the Day membership, but if you purchased the day membership in hope of getting the mobile membership to use for your viewing. Then I would consider discussing with staff at NOW to see about converting the day membership to a full month membership.
