Watch past F1 races

Hi all,

I am considering taking the sport package to be able to watch the F1 races. However, it is important to me that I can rewatch them since sometimes I will not able to watch them live (either the quali or the race). Is it possible with the Now Sport package to watch the race later on the day or even the next day?

No..NOW only carries the live races via Sky Sports F1 (or on Sky ONE when shown).  To watch races later you'll need a full Sky package.   Highlights can be seen on Channel 4/ALL 4.  F1 TV in the UK only allows you to watch full races after the season is over.

If you have a NOW Day Sports Membership or full blown NOW Sports Membership you can access the NOW on Demand Sports service.

There is a dedicated F1 section and usually the Qualifying and full Race will be shown.

I believe it also shows the the three practice sessions also.

It may take 24 hours for them to be added after being aired live.

Should you have NOW Boost the PQ quality for on Demand Sports is limited to 720p at 25fps compared to 1080p 50fps.

Here's some more information about the NOW Sports service with regards to F1, where you can watch live, on a repeat broadcast (when available) and on Demand (takes around 24 hrs to be added) all on a NOW Sports Membership (not mobile Sports Membership).

@SR1990 just to add from the info @schnapps has posted, Channel 4 have the exclusive rights to show highlights and/or full race for a period of 24 hours either on terrestrial services or the All 4 app.

That can mean Now's on demand replay may not be available until late Monday night or, in some cases, Tuesday morning.

@schnapps any chance you can feed back that the page you linked is a year out of date! Given we are 2 weeks away from the 2022 season I find it silly that page is talking about the 2021 season and watching the final race in Abu Dhabi!

Perhaps NOW will add 2021 to the race thumb nails from last year when the 2022 season starts or these 2021 races on Demand will be removed before the first race this month.

By all means tag a NOW Team Staff Member such has Izzie-T if you think it needs addressing.

@schnapps no issue with the on demand thumbnails but the help page specifically says "Watch every race of the 2021 F1 season live" and "You can watch every lap of the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix live".

 @Simon-J  the F1 help page is a year out of date.
