"The NOWTV offer at the beginning of the 2019/2020 was clearly advertised as a pass for the whole season - Sky obviously had no way of knowing that the season would be interrupted in the way it has.
I made a complaint via the NOWTV complaints procedure & was allocated a reference number. It took some time to receive an answer but on 17 April received the following:
"We want to make sure we’re doing the right thing for our customers. We’re aware that your NOW TV Football Season Ticket will be ending soon and there are currently no official dates or plans in place for the remainder of the 2019-20 Premier League & EFL season.
The situation is constantly changing, but the Premier League & EFL are currently looking at ensuring the 2019-20 season is completed as soon as it’s safe to do so. So to make sure you don’t miss a moment of the action if the season recommences later, we’ll be extending your NOW TV Football Season Ticket - free of charge - for another month, and will continue to extend it until we know more about how the season will end.
You don’t need to do anything. Just make sure your Pass is active, not cancelled, and we’ll extend it at no extra cost to you before it expires. We’ll be back in touch once this is done and we’ll also let you know of any further extensions to your Sky Sports Pass if they’re necessary.
Thanks for your patience in these uncertain times.
The NOW TV Team"
This was followed up by another email on 20 Apr:
"Hi,
Ref: xxxxxxxx
Thanks for your recent contact with NOW TV
As per the email sent to you on the 17th April, your NOW TV Football Season Ticket will be extended so you don’t miss out on any of the action when matches are rescheduled. We are now closing your support case. Unfortunately, we’ve had to close some of our contact centres because of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), so our customer support is very limited right now. It will take us longer than normal to get back to you if you need further support. Thanks for choosing NOW TV,
The NOW TV Team"
As far as I can see NOWTV are doing the right thing and will honour the pass until either the season is completed or it is officially cancelled by the Premier League.
I presume the same thing will happen for all other subscribers to the NOW TV Football Season Ticket."
