Sports pass price increase

Looks like another price increase for the Sports pass, mainly for day and weekly passes

Day pass now £8.99 and week pass now £14.99

https://help.nowtv.com/article/sky-sports-day-week-month-pass

As we don't get Catch-up, Red Button or HD, this increase is another slap in the face. Price increase for a Sports service that remains unchanged apart from channel lineup.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

You guys literally just said its 39.99 you thicko. Hence you were saying its 9.99 a week and its not.

and its 25 a month!!!! Its not an offer you dummy. That is the price

So you're a troll. Say no more. There are no thickos in this forum, except maybe one when you check the pricing for yourself 😂

Sky Sports Day Pass £9.99

Sky Sports Week Pass £14.99

Sky Sports Month Pass £33.99

Currently there is a promo running of 1 months free mobile viewing when taking out a new Day or Month Pass.

The monthly pass at £25 is an offer price OR a voucher which can be purchased elsewhere and applied to your account.

PS. you oughta stop the juvenile 'thicko' and 'dummy' remarks. They're just adding to your stupidity level.

You should've done your research before trolling these boards 🤣

That's what I said.....a VOUCHER. Lord almighty! Getting through to children today is so darn difficult 🤣 🤣

At least now you know the full pricing information that others gave is correct from the link I provided you. In future check your facts before insulting the good people in this community. All you've done is finally agree with me that you are getting sports monthly at £25 through using a special offer voucher code bought 'elsewhere', something I mentioned earlier and you said I, and everyone else, were wrong 😂

Just to refresh your memory, what I said a few minutes ago was, "The monthly pass at £25 is an offer price OR a voucher which can be purchased elsewhere and applied to your account"

Its not a special offer voucher when you buy the gift card you tard. Its been that price for years! If you wanna trash talk NOWTV about their 33.99 then get off your lazy ass and buy the code in store.

btw, children? You are the 22 year old here.

I am NOT trash talking NowTV and never have. I've had it for years, most of that time getting sports for £20 on multiple 'cancellation' offers.

You are one foul mouthed nasty person lowering the otherwise sensible and reasoned discussions we adults have on here. At least you'll be gone by tomorrow when the mods return from their weekend off.

I'm surprised you don't realise that those gift vouchers are special offer priced vouchers, something which would be more evident to you were you to take the time to read some of the information on the forum AND on the NowTV site itself.

Whatever makes you think I'm 22, and a child at that age? Bizarre 🤣

Yes I look forward to the mods returning also. You are an arrogant user that thinks he knows everything, and the forum doesnt need that. I have already reported you for your insultive remarks.

Good luck with that @Anonymous User  They will see that all I have done is post up accurate information available on the NowTV website and attempted to stop you from abusing fellow forum users with your foul and insulting language in all of your posts in this thread. Sadly I had already felt the need to flag up those posts earlier today, not something I take any joy in doing.

I would be surprised if many pay full price for sports passes. Most I ever paid was £13/month and there are always £20/£25 per month offers via email plus numerous free week and day offers from ps plus, Gillette, Carling and pringles.

I still have 2 three month sports vouchers on my account I got for £60 each with now TV sticks from Currys on prime day.

@starman73

I'd also imagine there can't be many paying full price. It isn't worth it at its full price, in fact with the frame rate issues etc it's definitely not worth paying over £20 for, hence the reason I've cancelled this time around.

Hi @Anonymous User and @Anonymous User,

We appreciate your help on the community, however we do not tolerate the abuse of community members.

I've read through the thread, and can see that you both have raised valid points. So just to clarify, the cost of a Sky Sports Month Pass is £33.99pm.

There are some shops that may have gift cards available for all of our products at a different price point.

If this thread goes off topic, it will be closed to any further replies.

I'll send you both a Private message in regards to the issues raised from this thread.

Thanks

Karl

Thank you @Karl-F  and I very much appreciate the private message you sent this morning. It's refreshing to be able to participate in a forum with such excellent moderation in place to protect forum users 😀

@Anonymous User Most of the year, most years, it isn’t even worth £20/month. This summer was an exception with the cricket World Cup and ashes, but next summer will be pretty blank with Euro 2020 on Freeview.  Even next few weeks is less than desirable with Rugby World Cup and Champions League on elsewhere.  And in December, Amazon have two rounds of Premier League games.

I currently pay £15/month for Sky Sports HD with Virgin until end January which is as much as I would pay right now.

@starman73

I would tend to agree with you. My current month ends on the 27th and I have no intention of renewing this time around. This is the first time I haven't been offered the sports at a discount, although maybe it's because I bought a cheap voucher for this particular month's viewing.

At this time of year the Champions League takes first spot for viewing in this home (Dortmund v Barcelona last night was a superb start) which will keep me going until December. As a Man United fan there is also the added 'bonus' of Thursday night football as well. BT also show the Bundesliga which is fairly similar to our Premier League and a good fit to replace the EPL games I'll 'miss' through cancelling Sky Sports.

We are fortunate in this country to have superb radio coverage of the Premier League with good highlights programming courtesy of the BBC & BT (who show the Premier League's own Premier League Review show) so no need for a glut of live football.

@Anonymous User I rarely get the month pass as often the odd week or day pass does for me. Good weeks in early October/mid November  with  lots of international football that I would buy a week for if I didn't have sky with virgin.

Ordinarily I only get a month to cover December/January when there is a lot of football on when I have time off and so my dad can watch the darts. Last time I did that it was just £13.

The £39.99 was for a month’s Sports Pass bundled with a Stick.

Please go back and read it carefully, and you will see the truth of this.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
