Sky sports mobile month pass

I have just bought the sky sports monthly pass to watch the Everton v Liverpool game on my iPad and it keeps saying I need to buy a pass, any ideas, this is so frustrating!

Re: Sky sports mobile month pass

Hi @Tonyuk11

Sorry to be bearer of bad news, the nowtv mobile sports pass can only be used with a smartphone and hence the reason you are having trouble using an iPad Tablet with this pass.

Perhaps NowTV need to have a re think of the wording of the title of their mobile sports pass to avoid confusion for customers, if they are not going to permit tablet owners access to this mobile sports pass ?

Hey @Tamper

So have you bought the Mobile month pass or the standard month pass?

Re: Sky sports mobile month pass

Me too I tried to view the pass on my tablet, now I realise it has to be on my mobile and because I registered my tablet this month I am now unable to register my phone having exceeded my device limit.

Re: Sky sports mobile month pass

I am having same problem and only went for this subscription thinking my iPad IS a mobile device? I have a sim card in it and it is mobile, I can take this anywhere with me. I think NOW TV needs to change this or somehow fix this.

@beestaR

Yes, it needs the word ‘phone’ in there, as even a sim-enabled, go-anywhere mobile device like the iPad can’t make phone calls. Not without piggy-backing on an iPhone, anyway.

I wonder if this Pass would work on an iPod Touch, though....
