is it possible to ‘pause’ our sky sports passes (I have a 3 month pass at the moment)? Without cancelling the whole thing? I don’t want to lose my offer, just waiting for all sports to start again.
Hi I took a 10 month pass for premier League at start of season with 2.5 months left to run I contacted live chat ( Kamal) and asked to suspend pass so I could restart later or cancel and give 3 month pass. He offered a 1 month pass I refused he said he could not help and finished chat also save transcript not available. I will try again but it's a long wait to chat.
I think they know it's an issue and as usual are just trying to fob people off with the minimum they can get away with. What is more worrisome is not being able to save chat.
Sky sports have agreed that customers can suspend sports and restart later come on now TV do the same and stop treating people as second class customer's. We don't want free passes just to be able to watch what we have paid for if and when it restarts.
After 4 separate chats, I got 2 month sports passes in lieu of the 2 months remaining on my 3 month pass.
I asked for that, cited frustration of contract and they gave it to me. Shame it took 4 separate chats to achieve that, but it all worked out for me.
I have to date spoken to 4 people on live chat to try and get the Ballance of my sky sports 10 month premier League pass secured, I have 2.5 months left they have offered a 1 month pass, a 1 month pass and £20 or no pass and £40 All refused as all I want is to secure the remaining Ballance of pass. I will try again tomorrow but it has taken me most of the evening so far. One more tip is if you can't get through to live chat I found deletting cookies helped each time it happened I got connected to someone straight away.
Given the lack of positive responses to the live chat facility, I have put a complaint in writing (once I found the webpage).
I’ve decided just to tweet them until I get a descent response. If we make it public, they can’t fob us off!
Now you can't even use livechat to conatct them! But if you want to save the live chat, highlight the text, either - right click and select Copy - or Ctrl + C and paste into a word document. Works on most platforms.

Live chat will be down for the duration of the covid-19 no doubt. Although filling this form is another way of getting in touch and hopefully a reply.

Filled that form in twice still no one as contacted me, they obviously don’t want to be helpful about this, what’s even more annoying is Sky customers have been able to pause there’s.
@Anonymous User have you paid in advance? If not, you can cancel immediately.
The problem seems to be that if u cancel a 3 month pass they charge u the full price for the first month..it’s £20 a month for 3 months I.e. £60 but £33.99 full price per month..may have to just pay the £30 odd n cancel..
if it is £20/month for 3 months you just pay for the months you use prior to cancellation. So if you cancel on day 1-30, it is £20; day 31-60; another £20; day 61-90; another £20. And then you revert to £34/month unless you get an offer when you cancel.
if you get an offer of £20/month for 12 months, you can cancel at any point and just pay for what you have watched so far.
Only if you have something like a 3 month pass with a stick (or a season pass say £198 for 9 months up front) have you paid in advance, so cancelling makes no difference.
I sent an email a couple of days ago to Jeremy Darroch, the Sky CEO seeking a refund or an extension once live sport returns to normal.
I received an offer today of a refund of £60 from Now TV's customer services in respect of the final three months of my 10 month "Premier League" pass.
I have accepted the offer.

Thank you for your recent email.
We are offering any Season Pass customers a refund of 3 months, at £60.
If you wish to accept this please provide the below details as we will send this to you via cheque.
Firstly, I know there are many more serious issues going on.
BUT
I paid £200 for a 10 month Sky Sports pass. It expires in June, but there will be no sport until after this. NowTV have refused to pause my subscription, the best I was offered was a 1 week pass.
We can no longer contact them.
I will remain patient, considering the circumstances, but my advice to NowTV is to honour the contracts in the spirit they were given. If not, then these actions will be remembered for a long long time.
I have a 6 month pass at the moment. Can I pause payment until transmissions restart?
