Sky Sports Bonus Streams on NowTV

Just noticed NowTV have recently updated their Sports Pass Help Article, where this is now mentioned under the FAQ sub heading " Can i Watch Bonus Streams and use other Red Button or interactive service on NowTV".

Here's the section copied and pasted below.

If you've got a Sky Sports Month Pass and one of the devices listed below, you can access Bonus Streams for selected sports events, including additional EFL matches and F1 Race Control.

• YouView box
• PS4
• Xbox One
• Supported LG or Samsung Smart TV.

When a Bonus Stream is available, you'll find the option at the bottom of your NOW TV app homepage.

Keep in mindYou can't watch Bonus Streams with a Sky Sports Day, Week or Mobile Month Pass.

Bonus Streams will be coming to the NOW TV Smart Stick and Boxes (except the white NOW TV Box) later this year.

I have the sky sports month pass on my box. I will keep an a eye on it when efl football start up next week. It good to know we are getting an extra feature for sky sports pass.

I noticed these Bonus channels popping up on my Samsung TV (though possibly from my YouView box, not the TV itself - I don’t recall) during last week’s F1, about six of them. Though as I wasn’t rocking a suitable Sports Pass, I couldn’t actually open any of them.

I have a Samsung smart TV with the now tv app. I cant seem to see these bonus streams ever, where do.they appear?

If your Samsung Smart TV supports Bonus Sports Streams then they are usually found on the bottom of the NowTV front end home page screen.

Bonus Streams are not there full time and usually pop up when there is a F1 Race or Championship Football which so far is the only time that i have noticed them on my Youview Box.

I understand that the pga golf is on the red button. But I cant see any bonus streams on the now tv home page, it seems very random as to when the streams appear.

Is there any more news when the bonus streams will be available on the now tv boxes and sticks as its less two months left of the year and I am looking forward this feature arriving on the box. I have now tv smart box with Freeview.

I would think it likely to be brought to the NowTV Freeview box when the issues affecting it and the UI are resolved. I am glad to see that Bonus streams are getting more supported devices at the start it was a bit lackluster to say the least. 

I hope the bonus streams are brought up to 1080p 50fps and that the rest of the sky sports channels become 1080p 50fps live.

Bonus streams are supposedly coming to NowTV branded Boxes and the NowTV Stick before the end of the year (don't know if this is still the case).

Where Video on Demand for Sports on NowTV branded devices (ie NowTV Boxes and Stick) will be available very very soon (watch this space) unless NowTV delays it for a second time.
