Shocking picture quality on Sky Sports PL

I'm currently watching the Spurs/Liverpool game on Sky Sports Premier League. I've noticed the quality has been getting steadily worse, over the last few weeks, but today it's really bad. There is smearing all over the screen, the picture is grainy, and it's as blocky as a dodgy stream.

Funnily enough it's fine on the adverts.

Results are the same on a Samsung 4K TV with the app, or on another TV with the Smart Stick.

I pay extra for Boost and I'm wondering why, when it's this poor.

Same here. Poor quality on both PS4 and NowTV box. Bit of a joke paying extra for the boost.

I've just switched over to Main Event and the quality is much better. Should have thought about that sooner.

I'd already tried that but no luck. It is working ok on my Chromecast though (which doesn't use boost).

No it isn't just you guys, it's their end, only they aren't in any hurry acknowledging an issue. Currently watching Sky Sports Premier League and the quality with Boost is worse than without it activated. They have a problem with their encoding hardware by the looks of it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has done the usual router resets, had no issues streaming other heavier usage streaming services. I watch apple iTunes 4K titles with no issue for starters, and they have a much higher bandwidth requirement than anything Now TV does.

I wonder how much longer before they actually fix the issue.

 oh look.. With this Now TV Boost, you can see every blade of.. No wait.. It's not grass, it's a blocky smeared mess all over the pitch. Thank god we pay extra for this..

I am having the exact same issue! Raised this through Live Chat and am now waiting for an e-mail regarding the fix for this. Also raised a formal complaint online. Shocking isn't it! Live chat still asked I reset and update all my NOW TV Hardware, when it clearly is a problem with the original stream from Now TV as many other people have had this issue! I have sent them links to the community page with all of these issues raised too - hopefully they can roll out a fix soon.

Happened to me recently, Now TV gave me a replacement week pass via chat.

I had this issue last year on some F1 races but without boost, i”m not prepared to pay an extra fee for a limited-service that is overpriced, to start with
