Roku Stick, Now TV and BT Sports

Hi Everyone,

As the premiership season has now finished, I have cancelled my NowTV subscription to Sky Sports. Is it possible to get BT Sports on my Roku stick via NowTV. Have been searching but cannot find a channel or app for BT. Many thanks.

Unfortunately BT does not have an App for the Roku and you would need to buy your BT Sport Subscription directly from BT which I think is £25 a month not from Now TV.

I have the monthly BT Sport sub but it would be nice to have it on the ROKU stick as well.

Agreed, I can understand why BT Sport was pushed onto Now TV devices because of its carriage TV deal it had in place with Sky. 

What I don't understand is why make the app avaliable to Roku devices in Now TV, but not all Roku devices?!

Best to take it up with BT themselves. Although my understanding is that its not on their radar and LG TVs are their next hit list after the Amazon Fire devices trial finishes.

BT Sport is now available on all Roku devices, Fire Stick and Android TV's.

I believe the BT Sports app is only available to a dedicated NowTV device apart from

the old white 'pucks'.

Was certainly available on my NowTV stick.
