Mobile Membership "Cancelled"

I recently received a mail from Now with the following:

 

"Thanks for your recent purchase, which included a NOW Sports Mobile Membership for five months at no additional cost. We just wanted to confirm that your membership has now been added to your account."

 

I tried to watch a Premier league match but was told I needed Mobile Membership to watch it. I removed the app and re-installed but to no avail. 

Then I logged in to my account and noticed the following:

"Sports Mobile Month Membership
Cancelled
You can keep watching until 31 Jan 2022"

So I can keep watching but it's cancelled!!!

I suspect it's because I had a similar offer which I never used from a few months ago, which has now expired.  It looks like an account management issue with the software or an administrator. Any help to reactivate greatly appreciated.

You didn't watch Sky Sports Main Event by mistake when attempting to watch the Premier League match with your Mobile Membership on your smartphone ?

 

I am.assuming you are aware you are restricted to five Sky Sports channels with a Mobile Membership, which is Sky Sports Premier League, Action, Arena, Racing (Horses) or News.

 

Also i am assuming your phone is setup for the UK region.

 

Perhaps get in touch with NOW Live chat to see why you can't watch one of the five permitted Sky Sports channels from your smartphone NOW App with your Mobile Membership which should run until the 31st of January 2022.

Hi @SirRoyston 

 

Never used a Mobile Membership myself, but another thing i would try is to log out of the NOW App, power down the phone for a minute, then restart the phone and sign back into the NOW App on your phone with the account details you used to check your online Mobile Membership.

Thank you so much. I just tried to watch "Arena" and it worked. I never realised there would be a difference between "Premier League" and "Main Event". I just assumed "Premier League" meant the match, rather than the channel. What an eejit!

You will be surprised how many people get caught out with what Sky Sports channels you can watch with a Mobile Membership.
