Hello,
I’ve just read on The Express that F1 races are now available on demand following the conclusion of the race.
Is this 100% confirmed and available as long as you have a Now TV Sports Pass?
Thanks

@Anonymous User Not necessarily right after the end of the race, but certainly within a few hours or at least the next day. Practice sessions an qualifying are available as well.

Unfortunately, F1 on Demand it output at 25fps regardless of your Boost settings.
I do hope 50FPS on Demand and Remaining 5 Channels is sorted this year it is the last piece in the pie to do now Sports Pass has come a huge way forward last 12 months
I was hoping that now TV done a F1 pass but clearly not I'm not paying £33/£25 for sky sports I dont care about football I just want F1 so thanks for nothing now tv I will go find a IPTV provider and watch the F1 with there servise cant wait for Amazon to be airing f1 sky are just out to rip people off
Trying to find today's F1 qualifying on demand, it's not yet up which is poor.
When is it likely going to be available?
@Anonymous User Qualifying is now available on demand, don’t know when it went up, but it’s there now.
Although billed as “qualifying highlights”, it’s 1h 29m long, so I expect it’s all there.
I still can't find it. There are 17 on demand programmes in the "F1 2021" section, but no practice or qualifying. Searching for "qualifying" or "Bahrain" returns nothing. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Edit: Yes I was! Immediately after posting, I found it it in "On Demand Genres" / "F1".
@Ant42 it's not in the F1 2021 section. It's in 'F1'.
If using a mobile device it's the top box (see image below when logged into the community)
If using a device connected to your TV or an integrated app, go to Sports on Demand, scroll to the bottom (On Demand Genres) and select F1.
Thanks, I found it eventually. Looks like they have both highlights and the full show there now as well as the F2 sprint races.
It's quarter past 11 at night and the race has still not been uploaded to Demand. The race finished more than 7 hours ago, why is it taking so long to post it on Demand? I want to watch the as soon as I come home not wait until midnight before I can watch the re-run of the build-up and then start watching the race and half 1 in the morning. I have work the next day and I'm not going to have enough sleep because I have to stay up till 3.30 in the morning to finish watching the race. I have paid my subscription fee so I should be entitled to watch it when I come home from work and not stay up all night because I had to wait for the repeat on Now TV. At least show the race more often, right now it's Ferrari Challenge Europe playing on now TV, why is Ferrari Challenge playing on the F1 channel, it should be F1 playing, I want to watch the F1 race, not Ferrari Challenge. SKY staff, please can you consider either showing the race more often or better still, upload it to Demand sooner
Yes this is a real problem and I’m close to cancelling my subscription to Now TV over it. It’s actually borderline rude of Now TV to treat customers this way - genuinely feels like it’s just waiting around for a member of staff to manually click something at their own whim because the timings are so random.
I can’t watch the qualifying or races live and they just make it to on demand super super late or sometimes not even in the same day. I know perfectly well how to search for them, this is not the issue. This wouldn’t even be a huge problem if there was some consistency to it or if Now TV communicated when they would be put on, but you just spend the next 24 hours guessing when it is going to pop up on ‘on demand’ and is really frustrating. “I’ll watch on demand when i get home” turns into “I’ll sit refreshing Now TV all evening and end up watching nothing until the result has come on the news and spoiled it the next morning”. Feels like it would be very easy to fix. Ideally put all races or qualifying on ‘on demand’ by 10pm the day they happen. If you can’t COMMUNICATE when they will go on. @Izzie-T
@Anonymous User as explained in another thread, Channel 4 have the rights to show the race replay before Sky.
Rather than refreshing Now, go to/get the All4 app and you'll find F1 content available within an hour or 2 of the live broadcast finishing.
Which thread? No Channel 4 does not show full replay, they just show highlights. In any case you’d expect the shows to go on demand when channel 4 highlights show finishes on channel 4 plus 1 - but this doesn’t happen.
If someone paid to watch football matches on sky, a response of ‘go watch match of the day on bbc’ is hardly acceptable, so isn’t here. Besides, my main issue is the communication - why not publish a schedule of when things will go on demand so we can at least plan around any constraints coming from C4.

The fact remains, Channel 4 and Sky have a deal that gives Channel 4 exclusive rights to show the race on demand before they can. I watched the French GP on All4, it was a 2 and a half hour show which included the whole race.
If communication is your issue, this isn't the place to complain as it's a customer forum. Try emailing Now or Sky viewer relations.
The other thread appears to have unresolved issues….
I very much doubt All 4 had the full race, channel 4 only ever has highlights. Maybe france was a one off race that was an exception but this is not the problem that we are all identifying here. The shows across all race weekends this year are going on sporadically and randomly. I think if there’s an agreement in place with C4 to not show for x time until c4 has done so then there would at least be some science to when they appear, but it truly is random and as customers we cannot plan what we can watch and when. And again, if the response to someone paying to watch football is to go watch match of the day, then what are we paying for?
Hi All,
Thanks @Saint1976 for the forum link.
As mentioned before each of individual games in the sport event can have different timing for NOW viewing right and generally take 24 hours for the process arriving to our OnDemand fully.
Thank you for all your message.
*Please note that I am only able to look into on content related queries, any account, offer, etc related, please contact our customer team or live chat for help. Thank you.
@Izzie-T Thanks for replying - I understand your comment, but I think my point is why can’t now TV find a way to communicate the schedule? I’m fine with waiting 24 hours for a race to go on, if you tell me say on friday that sundays race will go on demand at say Monday 4pm. Just an example but surely you can see how inconvenient it is for customers to not know when these things will be available?
Hi @Anonymous User
We totally understand your point, and we wish we have the timetable ourselves too. As I can only check the content for everyone when they are on platform not before at present too.
And please be reminded that 24 hours is for the processing time, but the time and date can be out for On Demand, will be still depending on the right of view with the provider.
We can only try and ask and ask again and again at the moment.
So please feel free to tag me for asking any game or content's timing. However I admit not knowing all the content name in my mind, please do give me the full name of the content you would like me to check.
Thank you for your message and help.

Come on Now TV, pleased finally o after years of waiting, there is a on demand channel, Monaco practice on Thursday, still not on the channel Friday at 11pm, sometimes it pops up quickly, other times it takes forever to be posted.....yawn. Paying same price as sky, about time we got the same quality and benefits. I can see content free on the sky sport app which is free, faster than now TV F1 on demand channel. please fix this.
@Anonymous User
If I’m not mistaken it can take up to 72 hours for sport content to become available on demand.
@Izzie-T are you able to confirm for @Anonymous User ?
