When watching the sports channels with boost activated the picture has a blotchy / blocky effect. The stream is certainly 1080p and 50fps watching through my now tv stick. The same issue isn't present watching BT Sport through youview or other channels. Its very noticeable on green grass when the camera is panning around and even more so on darker backgrounds. This isn't something I've noticed on the Sky Cinema channels.
Anyone have an idea on the cause or a possible cure? I have a picture of the problem but can't see how to upload it.

Have you tried setting the Now TV stick back to factory settings? This can sometimes squash any bugs with the software.
As a last resort you can get in touch with Now TV staff via Live chat.

I have tried a full factory reset and even tried a different TV, the problem persists on the sports channels.
Watching BT Sport through the stick streams perfectly.

I've just tried to get on live chat with no luck, i will keep trying.
It must be an issue at their end as i've tried it on 3 different TV's through the stick, a youview box and the app on the Samsung TV. The problem is there on all frustratingly!

Which sport channel is it as I didn't notice anything when I watched F1 this weekend.

I have been watching football on Main Event and Premier League.
Monday nights football was perfect through the youview box but not the stick. Fast forward to todays football and its equally as bad on both devices. Very frustrating!

Same here. I've had this problem for sometime. I just contacted now tv and they escalated the problem to critical sonam waiting for an email from the engineers. I did a live chat you would help us both if you did that today
