Hi @Anonymous User
Unfortunately at the moment there is no BT Sport on the NowTV service .
There is a cross supply agreement between BT & NowTV where the BT Sport App is maybe coming to the NowTV boxes & stick.
Where this information is still a little sketchy at the moment and no official date has been confirmed apart from it's apparently going to happen sometime during 2019.
On another forum people are stating that BT have updated their terms and conditions stating if you have a now tv pass through now tv you will need to log into the app to view your passes.
Dont know if this will take effec tomorrow or not
If with you. I'm plusnet customer so I hope they update the app all round on Youview boxes just will make it all easier to have it all on one device. I'm hoping we do get the update real soon our Plusnet TV box!

For those who are BT TV customers it looks like all the TV packages have been completely revamped.

The question is, what would this mean for watching Now TV across other devices, could it still be done?
Either way I am still content with my current Now TV at £11.48 for Entertainment, Movies and HD Boost (at least until May when my deal finishes).
They updated the app last night on my plusnet youview TV box and it's allowing all passes now and in full hd
Hi @gavs82008
Sorry don't know the answer perhaps a BT customer who has signed up to the various packages can confirm.
Apart from the live record with a 7 day EPG which would have been an extremely useful feature to have (especially for sports).
Where i am more than happy using my NowTV Cinema, Entertainment, Sports Passes, together with the HD Boost from various sources at discounted prices to watch three streams on up to six registered devices on my account.
All i would like to see now rolled out on the NowTV service sometime soon is the remaining eight Sky Sports channels getting the 50fps PQ treatment, a red button sports service, a 7 day sports catchup service and maybe a BT Sports App on my NowTV & Roku branded devices then i will be an happy NowTV customer 😀😀😀.
Spot on, sports catch up and red button are and should be no brainers. God knows why 50fps was not standard across all devices and channels?
Is 50fps standard across all channels on BT YouView? Probably not....
Personally I would like to see Now TV pick up more channels, taking a look at the BT "classic package" then those channels not part of the Now TV lineup should be added to the Entertainment pass.
Its still begs the question, BT sport on Now TV. We know Ireland has a BT sport pass which is purchasable and watched within the Now TV app.
My assumption is that for Now TV there will be the same here in the UK, but surely a BT Sport app needs to be launched to Roku devices that are not Now TV stick/boxes?
More to the question when will BT sport be launched across other Smart TVs?
Either way, all improvements and overdue and late improvements finally come. Still far too much left to do do truly improve Now TV to a fantastic standard.
Just can't see how difficult it is for Sky to put a BT Sports App on their Nowtv service like they do in ireland. The amount of money they must be missing out on in subscription is mind boggling . So so so disappointing.

Without giving too much away, I believe this is most definitely in the works. That being said I am not part of any trial for this, I am only aware it is happening, but personally do not know when.

I suspect some of this will happen in the very near future except red button & 7 day catch up. FWIW I think now tv should provide this to monthly subscribers even if day week and mobile subscribers are excluded.
Hi @gavs82008
This help article has just been added to the NowTV Help Centre about BT customers with the NowTV bolt on package purchased directly from BT.
Where it looks like it's six registered devices with two streams standard or a third stream with Boost.
When will the BT sport app be put on the nowtv stick?
@Anonymous User
Its slated for a summer 2020 launch, however no actual date provided yet.
Hi @gavs82008
It says on this NowTV help article linked below that the BT Sport App is due Spring 2020 (so they have until the 31st of May the last day of Spring).
Unless NowTV haven't amended or forgot to change the scheduled date on the link (Covid-19 would be an excuse if the link date needs updating) ?

The BT Sport Monthly Pass (£25) is only available through the BT Sport app.
The BT Sport Monthly Pass allows you to watch through the BT Sport app on iOS, Android, Chromecast, Samsung Smart TV, Xbox One, Apple TV and Sony PlayStation 4. You can also watch online at sport.bt.com
Please note: you can't watch the BT Sport Monthly Pass on an Amazon Fire TV stick nor a set-top box from any TV provider. This includes BT, Sky and Virgin.
I just bought the Now TV stick over the Amazon Firestick and Apple TV, after reading that the BT Sport App would be available from spring 2020 and Sky Sports is also available. Having just signed in though, I can't see the BT Sports App available anywhere. Has something changed but not been communicated about the availability of the app?

It’s been delayed and only mentioned as summer 2020
