remote switching to next episode in box set series not working efficiently

when watching a series the remote does not switch to the next episode. Can only return to home and navigate to the box  set and switch from the episode menu. Is there a fix for this? Very occasionally it works properly. Thanks P.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. First things first: -

  • What's the make and model number of the device(s) you're using to access and play NOW TV content?
    [ie: a NOW TV 'black' box, a NOW TV 'white' box or a NOW TV 'Smart' box. Or a 'Games Console' of some type, a 'Set Top Box' of some type, a 'Smartphone' of some type, a 'Tablet' of some type, a 'Windows PC', a 'Mac' computer or another type of device]
  • If you are using a computer, what's the operating system version?
  • How is your NOW TV playback device connected to the internet. Is it via a hard-wired or wireless (WiFi) ethernet connection?
  • What things have you already tried to get your NOW TV playback device working again?

Sufficed to say, the more detailed information you are able to provide, the easier it will be for us NOW TV forum members and/or a NOW TV Team member to work out a solution for you!

Hi. It is a black box NOW TV purchased from ASDA serial no. 325589242795. And it has now crashed with a msge saying "were working on it.." It is attached to Virgin Broadband direct to the router. This isn't a random event. this type of poor interrupted service has happened before. Serious bugs in this .

@Anonymous User does watch next not come up at the end of episodes for you? You should be able to click that and go to next episode.

There is a very long thread discussing this in the black box section of the forum...mostly me moaning to be fair. This has been going on for months and months and NowTV not overly interested.

As a side note most of us with the issue appear to have virgin bb using and older version of their super hub.

Who is your bb provider?
