After watching (and enjoying) several episodes of the American drama series "Succession" I noticed recently that it simply doesn't exist any longer.
I am aware that there are many more episodes that were made (and shown) in the USA.
Has Sky Atlantic stopped screening these ?
Could someone enlighten me please ?
Thank you very much.

Hi Now TV - Succession just won at BAFTA tonight and I read that it was streamed via Sky Atlantic in the UK. And signed up to NOWTV to watch. And it's not there...? When will it be a box set? Maybe give a warning that the International prize winner from BAFTA isn't available, for sign ups?
Series 2 Episode 8 "Dundee" (this week's).
Subtitles Sky?
Episode transmission Monday - still no subtitles available?!?!
Can someone hurry up and do them? Else we might have a discrimination issue....
I have been complaining all week but no result. I see ep 9 has them.
@Anonymous User
Yes, and finally, they are appearing before the Monday evening live showing.
Lets hope Episode eight gets them before it expires, so I can go back and see if Kieran Culkin really did say “Mumble, mumble (that face thing he does) wisecrack, Gee, really?’
Why are there no subtitles available for Succession series 2 Ep 8??? This is really bad and a refund worthy complaint for Now TV.
We have been watching season two.
Suddenly without any warning it isn’t on Now TV.
There was no warning!
Nothing to say it was only on for a few more days.
Season 1 is still there until 6/12/19
So annoying. It’s literally the only reason I’m paying for Now TV!!!
😡😡😡😡
I am also enraged. I literally started watching season 2 of Succession last night and was looking fwd to watching another episode tonight - and, horror of horrors it’s no longer there! How can episode one still be there but not episode two? Now Tv KEEPS doing this sort of low move....
@Anonymous User
Season 2 is/was on a first-run basis, so you get 30 days from when the last episode of Season 2 was shown, and that has just passed.
You should have got a warning though - when did you last watch it?
But you can now experience the beauty of NowTV, if Succession is all you are watching it for; Cancel your pass now (you can still trawl for other stuff until it actually expires), wait for Season 2 to come back as a box set, or for Season 3 to start, and then and only then resubscribe.
I understand that.
But all of the shows have a count down of when you can see them until (28 days left, watch until 6th December, etc).
However there was nothing saying they were suddenly going to remove it!
They still have Season 1 up until start of December.
If this is a common thing with Now TV, then I guess I’ll just go back to Netflix.
@Anonymous User
We watched each episode of Succession as it aired, or pretty soon after, and every one said when it would expire; but we haven’t rewatched any recently to see if there was a countdown or not.
It is NowTV’s intention to always have a countdown, but you are not the first to report the absence of it.
But some people seem to have seen it when others haven’t, so perhaps it depends what device you are watching it on?
I always get confused when people talk about ‘going back’ to Netflix, though, as if it was impossible to subscribe to both (though maybe you are financially constrained?), or as if you could get the same programmes there (which you largely can’t), or as if programmes on Netflix never expire (which they do).
Or is it that Netflix have a more reliable countdown to programme expiry, which you find more reassuring?
Season 1 of Succession stays up, by the way, as it has come back on the box set basis, rather than the first run basis of Season 2. Season 2 will no doubt come back on a box set basis once it has done the rounds of the secondary and tertiary content providers, probably about when NowTV gets season 3.
Hi @Anonymous User
Thanks for getting in touch.
Unfortunately we don't yet have a date for their return.
Thanks,
Jason
