maximum device activity limit

Hello, every time I try to watch something on my Apple TV I receve this message: "You've reached the maximum device activity limit on your account. Pleas erefer to your T&Cs for further details"

I haven't removed or added any devices... In fact, I was watching on my Apple TV just 3-4 days ago... Is this just an error? I can also watch just fine on my laptop.

@Anonymous User It could be that a recent update to the ATV has caused the system to see it as a different device. If you've not made any changes to your device list this month then you should be able to go to your My Account > Manage Devices page

and remove the Apple TV from your list, then try watching it again and it should re-add it and let you watch. If you still get the same problem though, have a word with Live Chat, explain what's happened and see if they can sort something out for you.

@Anonymous User is it just you in the household? Have you only got those two devices? If so log out of them and switch off.  Leave it 10 mins and then log back in.

No, there are more people in the household but non of them are currently using the account. No, I have two other devices. One hasn't been pluged-in in months and the other isn't logged in. I've also tried re-setting my Apple TV and it still throws the error.
