Sky News Watch LIve not available

Hi

Can a Now TV Team meber please answer why the app which is on Now TV boxes does not allow users to watch Sky News live through it's app. Roku boxes allow users to stream the channel.

I don't see why we can't do this as they run on the same platform. Having the sky news app with instant 24/7 news challen at the touch of a button is so useful. Why do both boxes have a different app?

Sky news is a FREE to air channel and provides its OWN app to allow you to watch Live news feed on its Advert funded roku app...

Strange as it is this app is provided for free to any one With out requiring a NowTV account that would be needed for the NowTV box...

So is run independant of NowTV... 

As this app is free and unrestricted from NowTV, you install the Sky News app... run the app and in the spotlight section...There happens to be a square called....

....Sky news... with the "watch live" Icon to er watch live...
