Looks like a new Sky branded History Channel coming to Now TV this Spring:
I'm guessing a lot of folk will be keen on this????
Following Today's change on Now TV from Nat Geo Wild to National Geographic.......the following interesting article on rxtvlog:
However, also in the above article, looks like a delay to the launch of Sky History, Sky Nature and Sky Documentaries, that were all due to come on board on 7th April.
Shame if there is a delay as was looking forward to seeing Sky History be added to NowTV least we know it is still coming. NowTV do seem to be expanding Entertainment solidly last few months and History Nature and Documentaries will just be adding to that
This is great news. I had Sky + then Sky Q for many years. I recently moved house and because of trees the engineer could not install a dish due to a weak signal. We have Netflix and Prime TV but I was missing Sky. I bought 3 NowTV sticks for my TVs and I’ve been really pleased we have most of the channels we used to watch as well as Sky movies. Not 4K but at least it brings us back to getting the best of Sky.
I am pleased with the National Geographic change and it’s great to hear History and a few other channels are on their way for NowTV users.
Sky X could be a way forward, dish less Sky using home networks. Thanks NowTV for improving the number of channels.
lots of competition out there and it’s good to keep your existing customers happy.
Sky History, Sky Documentaries and Sky Nature will be launching on 27th May 2020 on the Now TV service if this press release is correct: https://www.skygroup.sky/en-gb/article/launch-of-sky-documentaries-sky-nature-and-sky-history
National Geographic is up and running on Now TV, I've already been watching several Car SOS episodes......those other new channels, including Sky History, will be coming to Now TV later this month.
Yes, three new channels are being added to the already new National Geographic Channel. These are Sky Nature, Sky History and Sky Documentaries and they will be added to NowTV on the 27th May 2020.
Hope this helps,
