The reason being only "on demand movies" are currently permitted with the NowTV App on YouView boxes.
This is going to change sometime this year (no fixed date is yet known) where BT & Sky have agreed a cross supply service, where nowtv entertainment, sports and kids passes will be allowed to be used on the BT YouView boxes.
