Another person reported this recently where it was resolved by either disconnecting the power to the nowtv device for 30 secs or undertaking a forced software on the box / stick by pressing the Home button 5 times, followed quickly pressing the FF button 3 times, then quickly press the RW button 2 times on the remote controller to bring up a hidden menu on screen.
Even if you are on the same software version, still up date the box / stick.
If you wish you can watch the Sky Sports News HQ by going directly to the live channel on the Sports EPG instead of the App (subject to that you have an active entertainment, cinema, kids or hayu pass on your account).
