US Open - worst coverage

To top off the utterly bad coverage of the US Open where you are at the mercy of Now to watch the two matches they choose to put on, sometimes you can only hear the sound with no images whatsoever!

This is the worst ever Sports subscription for tennis.

It is farcical!

Back in the 70s we had no VCRs, you had to watch what was on live!

Then came VCRs, DVD recorders, and then the next level, streaming / catch-up on demand! Play what you want, when you want, pause rewind, fast forward.

I get up ready for an 8am match this morning.

There's nothing published anywhere I can find that shows what time the matches are on.

I looked the night before. Not on Now, not on Sky!

Surely it's the women's semi finals they will have on catch-up / replay? I say to myself!

So I can watch them in order and no spoilers?!

NOPE! Neither are there.

There's a 2 minute something about the Keys v Sabalenka match.

8am, I've missed the live send of the Coco Gauff match.

I would have had to get up at 5.30am to watch that!!!!

I start watching the Keys v Sabalenka match.

This turns out to be something of a highlights reel.

They jump to the middle/end of the second set. After the first set..

I know the commentators are going to tell me the result of the first semi final, so I watch with no volume!

What a RUBBUSH EXPERIENCE!

Once again NowTV / SKY have ruined a perfectly easy to show sequence of sport!

We CANNOT stay up all night UK time to watch these matches live!

Modern tech is called catch up.

Why are you NOT using it?

I've paid NowTV fees, I've paid the ridiculously high Sky Sports fee, I've paid for Bonus - 

I get one live TV channel the morning after the event. No catch-up replay etc!

You are the laughing stock amongst the tennis community!

Laughing, if we weren't so angry!

Interesting how ‘rewind’ is a little bit of VCR-speak that has survived the move to DVDs, and even continues to be used, in streaming.

I always imagine the bits and bytes of the stream spooling back onto the digital media where it is stored… 😛

Full replays are on youtube with out ads via the official US open channel - no need to purchase next year

For those of you who (including me!) who thought there were no replays.  There are, but not so easy to find!

I now have found them on my desktop computer and TV.

Here is the route:  Open Nowtv. Click on Sport on the top of screen.

Scroll down, click on US Open Tennis, picture of Alcaraz.

Now scroll down 5 rows (might be 6, but it's right at the bottom,) and you should find Catch Up.

It's not straightforward to find and should be made much clearer, as obviously most people haven't been able to locate it.

Disgraceful coverage . It cost me 26.99 for the coverage and I hardly saw any tennis . I won’t ever do that again ,sky shld stick to football coverage, give the tennis bk to prime or euro sport, you don’t care about tennis fans , your just so greedy & you better cancel my  subscription or you’ll  from me again 😡😡😡
