Subtitles - How to Turn Off on NOW TV app

Yellow subtitles are showing on various programmes I am watching via the Apple IOS Now Tv app. Is there a way to turn these off?? I don’t have SKY TV etc just the mobile app and the entertainment pass.

try these steps 🙂

• Navigate to to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Closed Captions + SDH.
• Click the Select button on apple Remote to enable Closed captions and subtitles.

Subtitles are permanently on in the IOS app. How can I turn them off within the app?

Go into your IOS phone or tablet settings and switch the captions on / off a couple of times until the subtitles are not showing on the NowTV App.

Hi..... I have just installed my now TV app through apple TV and now I have subtitles?? I've looked in settings but there's no option to turn them off?

How do you turn off subtitles on NOW TV box.

 I don’t know how I got them, but cannot get rid of them.

See if going into the NowTV box settings under Captions, then under Captions Mode is set to OFF.
