Rugby League programming/on demand

This is a question I have yet to see answered among sky/now subscribers. Why isn't it possible to watch past Super League games on demand? After broadcast, we get 15 minute highlights of the match. However we get a wonderful selection of full matches from 2017? I suspect it may be a licencing issue.

I don't watch Rugby League myself but you may be right with the NOW on Demand licence rights for Super League.

Where the NRL seems to offer the full matches having a quick look on the NOW on Demand Rugby League section.

Maybe drop NOW an email using the email address on the screen shot below to ask the question directly to NOW themselves.
