If I'm paying for a service...

Why in the world am I subject to ad's? I pay to watch movies and entertainment not un-skippable ad's?

Because NOW wants you to take boost to remove third party adverts.

 

This was added in June, it’s something I don’t agree with. However Comcast did the same with Peacock in the US.

Because without ads, you’d have to pay even more for movies and entertainment 😛

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
