Hayu channel - remove it?

How do I get rid of this rubbish?

I don't know when it snuck on there but all of  sudden I have a channel named HAYU which appears to be just full of that 'scripted reality' braindead telly like 'Real Housewives of Muppetland' and the like.

I'm sure I haven't sub'd to it or added it myself through the app menus so how do I get rid of it?

I know its not doing any real harm but I like a nice tidy layout 😉

@Anonymous User You can’t get rid of it. The Hayu channel is just like Movies, Entertainment, Sports and Kids channels - you need a specific pass to watch anything on it.  Without the correct pass it simply exists in order to show you what you’re missing (happily if it’s not something that interests you).

Bit annoying as its not strictly a genre or category.  I get 'Movies' and 'Entertainment' but HAYU just looks more like a channel... something more adequately placed as either a sub-section under Entertainment or a separate app.

Now I've got to look at something daily I'm never going to open. My OCD is crying in anguish.

First we lose the ability to load third party apps we do want (Flex and the like) and now we get ones we dont.

Accepted that it's all just tough luck though. Cheers for the reply.

You got its genre yourself - Reality.

And it’s separate, rather than a subsection, as it can be subscribed to in its own right.

I am so glad it is not tangled up with any of the other sections, as it is actually easier to ignore on its own.

Have you got all the other possible Passes then, or does your OCD not whimper at the other ones you don’t have?
