App not playing itv and bbc

2 things 

👋 1. apps not finding shows the odd night how to fix there and then? Eg. Bbc Iplayer and itv hub not working but Netflix does?

👋 2. When playing catch up on eg. itv player. I will be playing a show but if I was to re-wind it it would just try to buff and freeze and I’d have to restart the whole tv. I also cannot resume a episode I have to start the whole show again to watch all the way through. 

Any ideas what what can be done to change or why this happens, it has always happend since having now tv

I am guessing you are using a NOW Stick or NOW Box ?

I don't use the terrestrial catchup Apps on my NOW Box that often especially the ITV Hub App which is rubbish in so many ways.

The first thing i would try is to remove the two Apps and reinstall them again to see if that makes any difference.

If that doesn't help, then maybe try a forced software on your NOW branded device by following step 6 in this linked guide.

If help from @schnapps  doesn’t work, a worst case scenario is to set your stick back to factory settings.
