So just came back to now after a break to allow new content to build up and I’m having to watch adverts before and during the program!!!
when and why am I paying to watch adverts!!! I have Netflix, no adverts… Disney plus, no adverts… Amazon prime skippable adverts… then I want to watch some shows on Now I have to watch adverts when I’m paying for TV!
cancelled on the first month back and no hurry to return if I’m been forced to watch adverts. If I’m watching free TV (ITV,C4 etc) I expect adverts.. not when I’m paying for the privilege

You must have been away for a while! Adverts on catch up content were established some time ago, unless you subscribe to the separate Boost membership, which will not only remove these, but also give you better quality picture and sound along with usage on up to three devices simultaneously. Adverts on live streams have always been present.
And Netflix charge a premium for an ad-free service also.

This topic has been beyond discussed and moaned to death including myself.
As mentioned by @redchiz1 NOW has applied third party adverts to on demand content for a couple of years now.
You have to accept that advert free content will no longer the case on most streaming services. Amazon have shown interest in adding a tier to include adverts, which means we’ll need to pay more to get rid of them.
Disney+ will be throwing adverts in the UK at some point this year and that won’t make it any cheaper!
Paramount+ have also shown interest in adding adverts.
Discovery+ include them and what’s worse absolutely no way to get rid of them!
All that NOW done is best everyone to it. Cause let’s face it they are owned by Sky and we know what they are like.
Also I’m only paying a mere £2 for boost and have been for the last 15 months thanks to cancellation offers.

Thanks @gavs82008
You just reminded me to check my memberships, and Boost was due to go back to £6/mo in less than a week’s time,
Can now kicked down the £2/mo road for another 3 months 😛
