Re: Ads before content!?

I shouldn’t have to pay extra so I don’t have to put up with ads of any type. I already pay the subscription fee every month. I resent them trying to make me pay even more!

@RedDomino119

You need to be very specific.

There are 2 types of “adverts” with NOW. This was explained in my previous post.

Also this is nothing new in the world of streaming. Most US streaming services all have different plans which have adverts at a small fee and at double the price to get rid of the adverts.

There is Hulu, Paramount+ and more recently Peacock TV (which is owned by Comcast who owns Sky).

Even Amazon have promos for Amazon content which of course can be skipped.

So again, what type of “advertising” are you seeing?

Re: Ads before content!?

Trailers to shows or films that I’m not interested in. They didn’t used to force this on people, so why start? It already costs plenty each month and people shouldn’t have to put up with it. I’m not forced to watch trailers on Netflix. It doesn’t matter what type it is, I don’t want it forced on me.

@RedDomino119

What device are you using?

As I’ve only had NOW promos on my iPad. Never on my Amazon fire stick or Sony Bravia TV
