Why does the sound echo when I watch Now TV on my PC?

I do not have a box yet but plan to buy one. I use ethernet connection when the PC is in the living room and wi-fi in the bedroom and I get 37mps on fibre optic broadband. I can watch movies, youtube, iplayer etc perfectly well but not Now TV - the audio echo's. I have to add that this does not happen on Internet Explorer but I hate using this browser due to it's horrific speed and freezing. I installed the required Now TV player and Microsoft Silverlight for Mozilla Firefox and it is here I get the echo problem.

There are no specific movies or tv shows that bring it on. Every single stream displays the problem and this has been since day one.

I have not contacted Now TV yet but am hoping you reply to this post and I can find a resolution as I have payed £50 upfront for half price movies/entertainment for a service that is not fully working.

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure what might be causing the echo issue, there may be other PC users who can help out there, but there is another alternative to using the NOW TV Player helper app.

If you are using Windows 8.1/10 then you can try downloading the dedicated NOW TV app from the Windows Store and use that to watch

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/now-tv/9wzdncrdm157

If that doesn't help post back and someone else might have suggestions. Alternately you can send the NOW TV Team a message or get to live chat from the Contact Us page

(choose the options that apply to you, or expand the Anything Else section)

Thanks mate I installed the app and it works perfect 👌

I tried it on a few films and a box set and the picture and audio is crystal clear. So happy with this info - these forums are far better than customer service at times. Or in the case of Now TV.......ALL the time!
