VOUCHER CODE

Can an addittional voucher be addad at any time by cancellimg the excisting one and simply substituting new one and if so does it take effect from the last paid up date on the cancelled voucher. Or does the existing voucher have to have a limited time to run for this to work, I have done it with one with less than a month to go and worked ok but now wonder if this principle works with longer unused period remaining.

Welcome to the forum.

You can only add a new voucher when your current pass has less than a month left to run, so if you have a multi-month offer on your account, you'd need to wait until the last month. You should find the 'use a voucher' link doesn't appear if you have more than a month left.

When you apply a voucher it always kicks in when your current pass expires, so you don't lose out on any days by applying it sooner rather than later.

PS there is currently a slight bug that means the use a voucher option doesn't always appear when it should - if your pass has less than a month less but there's no use a voucher option, then just cancel your pass (to make sure you don't get charged, again you won't lose out on any days as the pass will continue to work until the expiry date), then once your pass has finished you will find the option to use a voucher will reappear.

Can you also tell me if prepurchased vouchers have expiry date built in or are they valid until used

Vouchers do have expiry dates (ie a date you must add them onto your account by), I'm not sure offhand but I know the vouchers that come with a NOW TV box are valid for 12 months from purchase so store bought vouchers are probably something similar.

If you do have a voucher and you'd like to check the exact expiry date you can always pop onto live chat and they will be able to check for you.

Thanks for that but like others live chat and any direct contact with now Tv staff seems impossible and if they do not remedy If eel Ofcom will be getting complaints to deal with this issue.

Are you trying to get in touch with support for any reason?

If you want live chat or email options try the following:

go to the following help page

http://help.nowtv.com/article/None-of-the-above

and click the green Contact Us button near the bottom left of it (not the How to Contact Us link right at the bottom as that takes you somewhere else) then choose the Email or Live Chat option on the following page.

Otherwise there are members of the NOW TV Team on here who respond to posts, so you can post a message in here explaining what your issue is and a member of the NOW TV Team will respond in due course, just don't go posting things like voucher codes on here as its a public area.

Hi @Anonymous User,

Thanks for getting in touch.

As stated by @Andy, voucher codes if purchased from stores or part of a NOW TV Box bundle do have an expiration date if not applied to an account.

You should be able to contact us by live chat from our help site, by selecting to help articles best suited to your issue. Most articles have a contact us button at the bottom which provides you with a number of contact methods.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks,
