Sky customer paying again for Now tv

Hi

I subscribe to Sky and get sky movies and entertainment. Bought a Now tv box for my Son's bedroom as he has no aerial in his room. He has really enjoyed watching tv and movies up there. However, do I really need to pay again to enable him to do this? Can I not use my current Sky subscription to view? He will need to Now tv box so his tv can access wifi.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Welcome to the forum.

The alternative is to look at getting Sky Go which comes free with your Sky TV subscription and gives access to movies as well as a larger selection of entertainment channels on mobiles, tablets and computers. If your son has an Xbox or PlayStation you can also watch on there if you pay for Sky Extra (£5 a month).

Your son will still be able to use the other apps on the NOW TV box without a NOW TV pass, but you can't use it to watch Sky Go unfortunately.

@Anonymous User Welcome to forums

Unfortunately one needs to have a NowTV account to use the service and this requires additional payments.

Cheapest was is to buy vouchers from someone like Game, Argos Currys etc
