I've been watching Movies for a couple of months via NOW TV and have to say the picture quality has never looked anything better than SD. I understand that watching 'Live' Movies will only stream in SD, but when I select a Movie from the catalogue they appear to be in SD too. I have streamed in 720p from other sources / devices, so can tell the difference and these look infinitely better than anything I have seen on NOW TV. My (pathetic) broadband connection is capable of streaming 720p (though would struggle to stream 1080) - I have approx 3 - 3.5 mbps Sky Broadband.
Is there anyway to check the quality I am streaming Movies in NowTV, or tell if it is being restricted in some way?

So, I've just done a quick Speedtest and got a result of 3.1 (ping 34ms). I would say that is quite common but have had varied results between 3 and 3.5. I don't think I have ever seen a film I would conside to be in 720p so looks like I am being restricted.
