Those little green stars by my name mean that I'm a Community Contributor - not Now TV staff. I just try to help out if I can.
Watched Everest (based on a true story) last night on Blu-ray, the movie was really enjoyable, the Cinematography was amazing (some of the camera shots were unbelievable).
The film had loads of well known actors and some of their performances was "top class".
Should this movie come to NowTV in the future, then I would highly recommend adding this to your watch list.
Not on NOWTV but me and the family enjoyed Rise of the Krays and its sequel Fall of the Krays.
A lot of people have been saying they are rubbish and wooden but we thought they were really good!
The one who played Reg even replied to me on Twitter!

How does this film compare against the Tom Hardy movie Legend, which I really enjoyed (thought Tom Hardy was fantastic in both rolls) ?
I noticed in a previous post that you have also seen Legend.
Are the films totally different with the time period that they cover, with the Fall of the Krays (has the title suggests concentrating on their final years) ?
Might have to checkout this two movies.
BTW - Have you recovered from watching Henry Cavil the other day on the Graham Norton Show ?
@schnapps Henry is a darling I love him! My lovely dad is treating me tomorrow for Batz vs Supz. We love our heroes! 😄
As for the krays, the fall has pretty much the same story obviously but it is played out a little differently to how legend did it but yes it consists of the same time period as legend. If you can, watch rise of first as of it shows how they got to 'power' and it is a two-parter.
Both are worth a watch but be warned they are quite graphic.

OK, I am sold, Just going to my Lovefilm account has we speak to add these two movies to my Blu-ray rent wish list.
Enjoy you day at the cinema, BTW i think Ben Affleck might have been a good choice has the new Batman IMO, especially with that square jaw /chin of his and at least he should look the part.
@schnapps Thanks I will! Glad I'm not the only one who has LoveFilm as well! I use it for mainly anime sets as it is cheaper to rent them than paying nearly £30 for a 13 episode box set 🙂

Thanks for that.
Managed to see both of them over the weekend and like you said is definitely worth a watch, i thought the actor who played Ronnie Kray was extremely good.
Though if i had to choose, i think "Legend" with Tom Hardy is still my favourite out of the two.
A quick heads up if anybody is interested, "The Rise of the Krays" has just been added to Amazon Prime.
@schnapps Glad you enjoyed them and I agree about Legend being on top 🙂
They are worth a watch as they are a good take on the Krays.
I was laughing every time Ronnie yelled at someone, he went as red as a tomato 😄
Yeah, i did enjoy them (would have given them a miss due to the poor reviews by the film critics, but took a gamble on your recommendation) Thanks.
Another movie that i also watched during the week was "The Martian" on Blu-ray the picture and sound was stunning and the flim was again really enjoyable (reminded me of Robinson Crusoe in Space) highly recommend.
@schnapps I have The Martian on one of those UV codes that a friend gave to me but have yet to make time to watch it. 🙂
I want to though 🙂
Hopefully you will enjoy the movie ( you just need to find two and half hours spare which is the approx length of the film ).
What a film Batman V Superman is! I cannot understand why it has had so much hate? It was excellent in my opinion. 😄
I can definitely see this coming to NOWTV one day *hint hint* 😄 😉

Glad you enjoyed the movie, what did you think of Ben Affleck has the new Batman, did he look the part in the Bat suit.
Suppose, this is another movie to add to my LoveFilm rental list.
@schnapps Going into it I thought Affleck was going to be rubbish. I admit I thought this since he was cast but oh do I owe him an apology!
He looked the part, sounded the part and played the part very well!
I had to resist googling the film because of spoilers which I am now glad about. 🙂
Make sure you add it to high priority on your list, I've only been home an hour and have already preordered it from amazon. 😄
@schnapps I forgot to mention that the soundtrack is really good. I have already bought that as well 🙂
@4268 I will admit there were a few scenes like this but not enough to ruin the movie. In my opinion anyway. 😄
Who framed Roger Rabbit? I saw this for the first time today and I think it is on here.
All I can say is wow. No wonder people are always pausing the Jessica Rabbit bit 😮
This is Disney? 😮 😄
I take it Disney were able to get away with things back in the 80's. 🙂
I have two movies to bring up 😉
I watched Tammy yesterday 🙂
Pretty good but could have been better.
I dug out a comedy out of my DVD collection and found 'Ruthless People'.
That is still hilarious!
A couple of films: I agree with 'Ruthless People'. It's a fantastic film. Also, the disney film 'Tangled' would be awesome. My wife misses it being on Now TV. We have it on DVD, but it's not the same, having to lump the dvd player upstairs all the time!
