Subtitles on Chromecast

Does any members or NOW TV Staff know if subtitles be available on chromecast I don’t want to buy now tv smart box/ black box how had issues with them last year that’s why left now tv

According to this guide article Chromecast is not currently supported when using subtitles on the NowTV service.
