Pixelated video on resume

For a couple of weeks now whenever I've resumed a program (not pause then resume) the video is corrupted (multi-colour pixeling) with sound.

 

If I restart the program from the beginning, or choose a new program that I haven't watch yet the video is fine.

 

All versions for NowTV, Chromecast are the latest using Andriod 5.1.1 also happens when casting from my tablet which uses 4.x

 

I have no issues resuming video with Netflix, or Google's own movie playback app.

 

I have rebooted everything still the same result getting extremely frustrating.

No longer using chromecast so not an issue, got a couple of the new NowTV Boxes in the black friday sales.

I an having same problem but pixalated from start and dosn't free up.

Same on all devices; all software is uptp date.

Tried factory reset, power off & reconnecting etc but still occurs.

Only occurs with Now TV other casting services are ok.

I have had the problem using Samsung smart TV

Problem with the affair season 2 ep 5, justified season 6 ep 1

Please advise any fixes please

Thanks you both for the extra info.

 

Just so I'm clear. The episodes intitally play okay but when yu stop them and then resume you get the massivley pixilated video. 

 

If that's the case, does it not disappear after a few seconds of playing out?

 

The more info I can get the better chance we have of recreating the issue and getting a solution put in place.

I have had the fault when I watched justified for the first time, the affair may have been a resume. Tested a couple of other eps and they worked

Samsung and chrome cast , Netflix via Samsung fine

Hi @Anonymous User, @Anonymous User and @Anonymous User,

 

We have replicated the issue so we're getting our Chromecast devs to look into this.

 

Hopefully we'll get a fix put in place soon.

Thanks for posting, sorry to hear you've had some issues with the Chromecast when viewing the Affair. Unfortunately this episode has now expired. I hope you were able to view this episode via another device.
