Sound out of Sync with the Picture

Can anyone help? Am using a new Apple TV with the Now TV app but recently the picture is so juddery and sound is slightly out of sync when trying to watch anything. I've unplugged, rebooted and replugged everything but it keeps happening. Any suggestions please?

I'm having same issue picture jerky and out of sync with sound.

 

I have reset Apple TV box

have uninstalled app but now can't do that again until counter reset

done all suggestions by others on here

all other apps eg iTunes work fine 

now tv on iPad is fine

 

issue in now tv app. 

 

Pls help

Why can you not post any further information on the thread here?

There are obviously many of us with this problem and want the problem rectified.

I too have the same issues as above.

I have reset my (new generation 4) Apple TV.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the NOWTV app.

I would appreciate a response (preferably on the thread for others to see) ASAP.

Any update on developments?

 

I too am having this problem. It started if I paused a programme, but now it is continuous. I have tried rebooting device etc. Currently trying to watch the Simpsons on Sky 1 live and audio is ridiculously behind the video. It is unwatchable. Like the previous poster, I am using a white box with an AV cable.

I also have this problem on E4 and BBCi player played through my Now TV box. Please do not ask me to purchase a new Now TV box because I did this a couple of weeks ago only to find it only works on a TV via HDMI. Unfortunately, this is no good to me.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Still goes wrong, only way to temporarily fix seems to be to unplug Apple TV box and plug back in. Any other ideas Now Tv?

The NowTV people have been no help and the problem continues. What is
unusual is that the loss of sync progressively increases over time at about
1 second per hour. Surely this is a problem with the White NowTV box
firmware. Otherwise the loss of sync would not be cured by rebooting.

Really sorry to hear that you're still getting this problem.

 

That does sound really strange if the loss of sync increases per hour.

 

Are you getting any video buffering? Is the signal between the NOW TV Box and your router strong?

The signal strength between the router and the NowTv box could not in any
way affect the AV synch. In fact the signal strength is excellent. What
this problem needs is some interest from NowTV engineers who may not
realize that the AV sync is OK at first but then progressively deteriorates
over hours.

It's the nowtv app all other apps such as iplayer, Netflix etc work ok
