The NOW TV app for the new Apple TV should be coming out soon, so please keep an eye out.

I have to agree that the failure to update the app is incredibly poor. Thankfully, I've been able to use the app built into my TV which although a trifle slow on the UI front, works.

 

Additionally, to me it seems there's a small but noticeable lip sync issue.
