broadband set up fee

Please can you tell me why I have to pay a £60 set up fee for broadband, what is it for?

The £60 admin fee is for the non contract Broadband option where you can cancel anytime without a penalty.

 

Where if you opt for the Saver Option there is no £60 charge and you would be on a 12 month contract.
