Can I assume now tv have automatically cancelled my previous broadband when I switched ? It was with sky

NowTV should take care of the cancellation process for you with another non cable ISP provider such has Sky.

NowTV will sort out the broadband and telephone side of things on your behalf, however I believe if you have Sky TV Satellite and wish to cancel that aspect of their service you will need to contact Sky yourself.

Hi , no cancelled satellite tv some time ago only had broadband & calls so from what you said hopefully all will be ok

If that's the case I would expect you to be fine if you are out of contract with Sky.

How long did it take to switch from Sky to Now broadband? I'm out of contract at Sky on 04/08/19, but if I leave before then I'll get charged a cancellation fee.
Should I wait until the 5th before starting the switch or can I specify a switch date?
Also, are you happy with the broadband from Now? Only ever been with Virgin or Sky!
