Wires broken loss of broadband & phone.

Due to a car knocking down the telegraph post and breaking the wires I had no phone or broadband from 13th Jan.  to 28th Jan, will I be compensated for this.

No idea bud as I am with BT for broadband, my suggestion to give the broadband team a call to see what the script it. Link in number below.

The compensation clock starts when you make Now Broadband aware of the outage.

If you haven’t done this, things may be problematic, though you could ask Now Broadband to talk to Openreach and find out when they were first aware of the incident, and how long the outage lasted.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
