What are the broadband costs associated with moving house?

Obviously a different location may cost me a different monthly amount, but will the act of moving house in the middle of my contract charge me an upfront fee?

I think Now will move with you, as long as they can provide service at your new address, without any admin fee, and their charges are nationwide, not regional, so shouldn’t change.

If they can’t service you at your new address, something that will become more and more prevalent in these days of FTTP-only new estates (Now don’t offer FTTP) and Copper Stop Sell areas, then Now will release you from your contract penalty-free.

So the first thing to do is put your new address in this coverage checker, and see what Now come up with.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
