No Phone Number

I’m trying to get fibre broadband for my daughters flat. The phone line just goes into a box above the front door to use for broadband but there is no phone number. This seems quite common for flats but I can’t order any broadband with a landline number. The previous tenant has left a Now tv router there so it is possible. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance
