You don’t speak to staff in relation to broadband account issues. Best to have a nosy on this to see about paying it yourself by checking the last couple of paragraphs.

From my understanding is that they don’t try again. It is only TV memberships that is attempted for the next couple of days and that’s because it isn’t a direct debit.
