Hi Sylo

You know, that's a trick the whole telecoms industry has been playing us, the consumer, for years.

You see, the actually download and upload measurements are done in Megabits, and while without exactly saying it, they makes us believe we are getting Megabytes.

If you remember, it wasn't that long ago that telecoms/ISPs would tell you that if you subscribe to their service you would get, for example, 20Mb download speed. But now OFCOM has reined them in because, no matter who they are, they cannot guarantee constant and massive download speeds, now they have to say "up to" 20Mb.

You should also note that they no longer use "B", meaning bytes, in their download speed adverts, they now only use "b", meaning bits.

You know, the only way to avoid being conned is to assume that someone or company will always be out to con you, so you take steps to avoid that by doing some research.
