Landline

Hello, new to NowTV and have just ordered broadband, I didn't realise that my contract comes with a landline and home phone, is there any way to keep the contract that I'm on and just opt out of the landline since I don't need it and would prefer not to have it! Thanks very much!

@Anonymous User Since broadband is delivered over a landline, you need it. Also, landlines have a phone number associated with them, so you get that as well. You are not under any obligation to actually make phone calls on the landline. However, it is worth  getting a cheap wired phone, which you don’t need to plug in, as I can almost guarantee that should you ever report a broadband fault, you’ll be asked “do you get a dial tone”.
