internet been down the past hour..

If resetting the NOW Hub Router doesn't help and the wiring between the Router and BT socket looks in order.

 

Then give the NOW Broadband Team a call just in case it's an isolated case on your line, rather than an outage in the area (unless anybody else at the same post code region is also encountering no internet).
