How long does broadband switchover take?

Hello,

 

I am thinking of switching to Now TV fibre broadband from another provider, I want to know how long it takes?

 

I thought maybe there would be something like a month notice before the switchover or am I wrong?

 

I can't find any information about this on the website. The reason I want to know is that my current contract ends on the 18th of September and I don't think I can leave before then without paying a penalty charge.

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

If it's a straight forward self install then it normally takes 2 Weeks to switch providers.

 

Should it involve an Engineer visit then i would assume it will take a little longer than 2 Weeks.
