I booked a new broadband connection and the engineer was supposed to visit today for setup, but no one showed up. Spoke to many customer representatives, no help. Not sure what to do next. Took a leave from work today as I was expecting the engineer to come. Unacceptable and very unprofessional. I will be at work on week days. Please send the engineer this Sunday, or else cancel my order.

You don’t deal with NOW staff on the forum. Sorry that your visit didn’t happen.
However nothing relating to broadband set up can be resolved on here. You have to keep calling customer service.
What you have to bare in mind is that NOW don’t have their own engineers as they are fully reliant on OpenReach.

Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring problem, one which they don't seem willing to resolve. If customer support keeps ignoring you, all you can do is switch to a different provider altogether.
